Welcome to the Lion of Judah Academy blog! We are a private Christian K-12 school based in Orlando, Florida. Birthed out of the frustration of seeing too many kids in the public school system not have the skills and education needed, Mrs. Judith Shealey opened the school in 2012.

Her goal when starting the school was not only to give students a better education than they were receiving but to impact their lives. With smaller classroom settings, students would be able to have one-on-one time with teachers and build stronger foundations for their education and not be "lost in the system" of public education. The strength of the educational program would lie with dedicated Christian teachers that understand that working with children is more than a job, it is a ministry of serving. Using the A Beka curriculum, a challenging and thorough faith based curriculum, students would not only be challenged academically but spiritually as well.

Fast forward to 2017 and we are now in our 4th school year and and are still growing! Our students are not only adjusted to the small classroom setting but are thriving. Those who were struggling before are now more engaged and showing real improvement. The school provides the children a safe and healthy learning environment where they can enjoy learning and build strong relationships.
